What we believe

Connecting to the earth by growing our own foods, raising our own animals and using our own hands to build what we can to live a more sustainable lifestyle. 

Born and raised in middle class suburbia, we wanted a different life for us and our kids. We bought a foreclosure house with 11 acres of land on top of a rocky hill and set about transforming it into our weekend homestead. 

I work in the city during the week but the weekends are all about Rocky Hill, touching the earth, caring for our critters and raising our kids to be strong, self sufficient and kind human beings.

Hubs, me and the kids work, play and learn on Rocky Hill. Nature teaches us something new almost every day.
